“365 Boxes:” Day 53

by | Feb 22, 2023 | "365 Boxes"

Continuing with our recent theme of “That’s Not a Box,” today we have:

Box 54: Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023

CONTENTS: A basket! A nice one, too. Inside the basket: a couch pillow, a dozen or so reusable bags and another dozen or so paper bags with handles and a pillow. One of the paper bags contained a selection of fast-food bags from around the mid-valley.

DISPOSITION: Who doesn’t need more reusable bags? Not us, that’s for sure — although you never seem to have one when you need one. We’ll reuse the paper bags. The fast-food bags will be used to line the food-scraps bucket that sits in our kitchen, eventually to be transferred to our yard-waste cart. The couch pillow I think might go with the couch that I know is somewhere in the garage. We might donate the basket — or, in the short run, we might put a blanket in it and see if one of the cats jumps in. Adorable.

A QUICK NOTE: I’m scheduled for a bit of outpatient surgery on Thursday, Feb. 23 — so I might take tomorrow off from posting. If so, I’ll double up sometime over the weekend to stay on track. If I feel OK, I might tackle another easy day — like, for example, dealing with those three easel pads (not to mention the easel). But if I find I’d rather take to my bed and just dramatically groan every time Diane walks by, I’ll see you back here on Friday.

If you’re coming late to the whole “365 Boxes” project, here’s the blog post that got it all rolling.
