“365 Boxes:” Day 8

by | Jan 8, 2023 | "365 Boxes"

At last, a surprisingly easy day, thanks to some unexpected assistance.

Box 8: Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023

CONTENTS: My spouse, Diane (identified in previous posts as the household Master Recycler — which she is, and she has the nametag to prove it) brings in this box from the garage. The box contains a supply of clay pots. Some of them have letters painted on them — A through F, remnants of a surprisingly successful science experiment the older daughter did in middle school, which would be about two decades ago. Which means these date back to our time in Missoula. Which means we brought these with us to Corvallis for — what? Another science experiment? I guess you never know when you might need a set of alphabetized clay pots, right?

DISPOSITION: We’ll give these away. If you find yourself thinking that pots like these are exactly what you need for your own science experiment — or if you’re looking to alphabetize your herb garden this spring — drop me a note.
